Here is a little thing I use, it helps a ton, I slip in my card from the trail cam in a computer etc and it reads it all well, and I can see the photos, or I put it in a digital camera, both work equally well.

When I am going to a camera and want to see the pictures I do not stay at the camera long and contaminate the area with smells, I take out a card and replace another, then I look at the photos in the bush on a laptop etc while at the farm, and I use this adapter.
