JACKAL / PREDATOR NIGHT HUNTING LIGHT

This is an item you can’t do without, you need a light – a red one to hunt at night – look this over, here is why!

This particular light I have been making up and selling for over 10 years, it has come a long way as part of our line up here at Feather & Fur, and in over 10 years I have NEVER had anybody that has a complaint about it and the way I build them, I build each one myself and put a lot into the manufacture of these lights.

I am asked what I do exactly to it, well I buy the shells from overseas and fit my parts inside and do other modifications, and it then becomes a really custom light, one that I have made for years!

THE LIGHT

The light is cheaper than any other hunting light sold in South Africa,  another make sold locally that is made overseas will set you back at over R2200-00 for the same diameter lens as this one I make up (180mm / 18 cm). My light is much stronger than a normal light and also has a bigger Halogen bulb than other torches sold in South Africa.

The light comes standard with 2 photographic ruby red lenses and if after some time you damage the front lens you can simply swop them around to have the new red lens in front. If you buy an imported light you must then buy the imported matching red lens as an extra at about R450-00 EACH – My light I give you two lenses for free.

The vision this light will offer you is very good and with the ruby red lens offers greater vision at greater distances. The light has a bipod in the handle also.

It is important to have a good bulb (halogen) – a hard shell that wont break if not treated to badly, and this light offers it all, simply put it’s a great light, a light many predators have come into.

The light also comes with a soft rubber carry or hanging handle and a VERY strong thick wire that goes to your battery. ( Imported lights have short wires with pig tails, very frustrating indeed)

The chair can fold up really small and be carried or mounted at the back of a bakkie, it is a great chair with a battery holder under the seat.

This light has a quiet on and off switch, imported lights have noisy switches that “CLICK” loudly at night!

Over 20 years ago, when I began hunting I started my career using these lights. So I know that are very good and last forever.

The other thing that makes this light a good product is that I shine up the inside shiny flashing well before I assemble it. This gives it more light reflection at night.

They come in camo models or black, you have the choice, at no extra cost.

Price of the light with the 2 lenses is R1250-00 for a TOTALLY SOUTH AFRICAN MADE PRODUCT, far cheaper than any other hunting light or import.

This product has many things going for it, and it is a straight forward light and nothing much can go wrong, it is better that way!
