NIGHT VISION SECRET

Do you own a night vision set up and want it to be clearer or to be able to gather more light? Well, read this I have been using NV now for a few years, and this is one secret you can learn by.

I called this jackal in and my partner shot it, in the back of its head with a 243 Ballistic tip, ooo what a mess!

I made a huge mistake with positioning the caller in front of the dogs head but it is still a nice photo.

I used a tactical infra red bulb in my Sure-fire – and man it makes a huge difference. By using an advanced system when calling jackal helps!

This jackal I called, and spotted him coming in at an angle to a roadway, I like watching roads at night, I spotted this dog a far way away coming in, he had no idea of our presence, and when a ballistic tip gave him a headache it was to late for him. He stopped to smell a bush and turned in a circle (bad mistake) you can see the red spot just above the callers aerial in this picture, the red spot is bullet entry behind his head.

THE SECRET IS OUT

OVER THE YEARS MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ME WHY I REVEAL SO MANY SECRETS ON MY SITE- WELL THE ANSWER IS WHY NOT?? WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL? AFTER ALL IT HELPS RIGHT? SO WHY NOT!

So, the secret is out, purchase one of these Infra red bulbs from overseas, and screw them in. These small IR lenses / bulbs are made to fit into any quality small torch, namely SUREFIRE torches, no doubt the very best torch you can buy.

This is what I like to do on a typical hunt, when I arrive at a place I will call, I look at the wind, let us say its going from right to left, I then drive all the way on the sand road to my left, and mark out 7-8 spots I will stand with toilet paper. I make the first stand and face the truck into the wind and park a little off the road, I position the caller into the wind about 70m away if I can see nicely and call, then after each stand of an hour, I work back slowly and drive into the wind all the way back, thus working my way back into the wind. I try calling the jackal in front of the truck or close to it.

Watching with NV on such a hunt is very easy especially if I hunt with a quarter moon, man you can see so well with NV, you don’t need extra IR bulbs, BUT on a dark moon this tactical IR bulb is amazing.

TACTICAL INFRA RED BULB

Ok, the extra IR is best used on dark moons when we don’t have a natural light like a moon etc, so we need to get or use artificial light, enter IR.

Now this allows you to not have to fit a black IR lens to your night vision equipment at all, when using this bulb it looks a like a normal torch bulb from the front, it is only when you switch it on at night that you see its not a normal bulb, as it has no white light at all, all that it shows is a very low tint of a reddish tint – that is all you see, it also has no range at all, all you will see is a reddish tint if held near your hand, BUT when you put it on and at the same time look through your night vision equipment you will say WOW!!! As it is like daytime, it is totally amazing to witness. The use of night vision is great, BUT when using EXTRA top class tactical IR bulbs, it increases your sight at night by a massive margin.

 

They fit almost all Sure-fire torches, see the link, it will tell you exactly what models it works on, I have  a Sure-fire 9-P and a G2, it fits both of these models.

This concept and by using the tactical bulb will give you so much better vision, and the cost well, I bought mine and those days it costs me $12,00, VERY CHEAP! I have had mine now 3 years (today being 2009) and still it is going strong, no problems. So the quality is tops.
